Patrick Keavney, the firm’s managing partner, has over 30 years’ experience in advising clients on many aspects of commercial and financial management. Prior to his establishment of Keavney & Co, Chartered Accountants, Patrick acted as Audit Manager for MA Stephens & Co.
Through the growth of KBG, Patrick’s skills and expertise have expanded vastly. Patrick has vast experience and knowledge in audit, accounting, and taxation, and specialises in corporate finance, restructuring, insolvency and tax planning. Patrick is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Post qualification Ciaran joined Patrick Keavney & Co in 1993, which subsequently led to his partnership and to the formation of Keavney Brady & Co. Ciaran has over 25 years’ experience working with a range of commercial enterprises in relation to financial management and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Ciaran is a hands-on professional who has extensive experience in improving cost and profit performance and enhancing value in businesses. Ciaran manages a substantial client portfolio providing general practice services along with audit and assurance, business advisory, general business, corporate and tax advice to our broad range of clients.
As demand for company services increased in the Longford area, KBG Accountants opened an office in Longford town in 2006, under leadership of Ciaran.

Mark joined KBG in 1999 as a trainee chartered accountant, qualifying in 2003. He works with new business, established business’s and has a very strong interest in helping entities reach their true potential. A specialist in the Insolvency sector, becoming one of the first personal insolvency practitioners in Ireland in 2013. He has been involved in numerous bankruptcies and debt negotiations providing solutions to distressed borrowers all over the country.
An added bonus for the firm is the fact that he is a Peace Commissioner ( 2017 ) and Commissioner for Oaths ( 2019 ).

Siobhán Brady joined the firm in 2005. Siobhán completed a BA in Accounting and Finance and is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. In 2015 Siobhán qualified as a Certified Tax Adviser.
The Longford office was set up in 2007 and Siobhán was integral in making the Longford office hugely successful.
Bernice Clarke

Bernice joined the firm in 2005 after obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance degree from Athlone Institute of Technology. She qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in 2008.
Bernice has particular expertise working with the firm’s wide portfolio of medium to large sized client’s operating in a variety of industries, preparing management accounts and statutory financial statements.
Bernice also has extensive experience meeting the company secretarial requirements of clients across a variety of industries and sectors. This can range from just assisting clients file their statutory returns to providing clients with a fully outsourced company secretarial service.
With her attention to detail, Bernice gives client’s great peace of mind and reassurance.
Francis Mulderrig

Francis, who is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ahern & Co Boyle, Co Roscommon, having acquired considerable knowledge and experience.
Francis joined Grant Thornton, Dublin, as Audit Senior and soon progressed to Audit Manager.
Specialising in Audit and Assurance, Francis, worked with and gained exposure to many of the firm’s largest clients. Grant Thornton are ranked sixth in the Top Ten of Ireland’s Largest Accountancy Firms.
In 2007 Francis joined KBG as Audit manager. Working closely with clients, Francis provides auditing, accountancy and taxation compliance and planning across a wide variety of industries. Having gained extensive experience, skills and knowledge, a professional and personal service is guaranteed.
Louise Quinn

Louise is an Associate of Chartered Accountants Ireland and joined KBG in 2013 after working for a number of years with a large accountancy practice in the North West and then with a firm in Dublin.
Louise has particular experience working with our SME and owner managed business clients - with a deep understanding of the key challenges faced by the sector.
By combining her expert knowledge in financial accounting and management reporting with extensive experience in providing audit, accounting and taxation services to a wide range of clients from very large corporations to small owner managed businesses, partnerships and sole traders, Louise and her team support clients grow and achieve their objectives.
Cormac Smith

Cormac joined the firm as a trainee accountant in 2008 after completing a BSc in Accounting and Finance from Dublin Institute of Technology. Cormac completed the Chartered Accountant Ireland program and is an Associate of Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Through 2013 to 2015, Cormac worked with O’Brien Palmer in Sydney, Australia specialising in Insolvency, Business Turnaround and Forensic Accounting. Cormac returned to Ireland in late 2015 working in the Insolvency Department at Mazars in Dublin. He re-joined KBG in 2018 and completed a Diploma in Forensic Accounting through Certified Public Accountants Ireland in 2020.
Cormac has expertise in Corporate Finance and Financial Advisory advising companies and individuals on Mergers & Acquisitions along with providing transaction support through the Due Diligence process and related services. He also undertakes a range of broader Financial Advisory services including valuations, preparation of business plans / projections and finance applications with financial institutions.
Cormac has extensive experience in Corporate Insolvency assisting companies with the process and managing insolvency matters in the firm.
