Qualified Accountant

The responsibilities of the role include:

 

  • Manage a portfolio of clients across a number of industry sectors.

  • Preparation of sole trader, partnership and company accounts.

  • Preparation of income tax and corporation tax returns.

  • Provide financial information and advice.

  • Meeting with clients. 

  • Develop strong client relationships.

  • Assisting clients meet their regulatory and compliance requirements.

  • Manage and mentor junior team members.

  • Reporting directly to partners.

 

Applicants should have:-

 

  • A professional qualification from one of the registered accountancy bodies.

  • Ideally, 3 years practice experience.

  • Experience in supervising junior team members.

  • Highly motivated with the ability to work to strict deadlines.

  • Confident and articulate.

  • Good technical skills.

  • Positive can-do attitude and a team player.

Trainee / Apprentice Accountant

The responsibilities of the role include:

 

  • Assisting with the preparation of financial statements for a diverse range of clients, in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Audit exempt services for limited companies.

  • Bookkeeping services to include preparation of VAT returns and PAYE returns.

  • Preparation of bank reconciliations.

  • Preparation of Income Tax and Corporation Tax returns.

  • Meeting and consulting with clients.

 

Applicants should have:

  • Minimum leaving certificate completed (minimum 300 points).

  • Third level degree or similar qualification would be an advantage but not essential.

  • 1 to 2 years experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not essential.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Good computer skills.

  • Strong organisational skills.

  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Office Administrator/Personal Assistant

On behalf of our client, whose business is operating in Kells, Co. Meath in the construction industry, we are seeking to recruit for the role of office administrator / personal assistant.

Responsibilities to include:-

 

  • Overseeing general office day to day operation

  • General book keeping

  • Processing invoices

  • Organise and process payroll

  • Administration of RCT registration and payments

  • ISO 9001 & 14001 administration

  • Organise and maintain safety records and procedures in line with Health and Safety guidelines
